CEDARWOOD CO2 EXTRACT OIL

Description : Cedar wood comes from several different trees known as cedars that grow in different parts of the world. Cedar from Cedrus was once an important timber in the Mediterranean area, used for building and shipbuilding, but severely overexploited for thousands of years.

Constituents : Its main chemical components are α-cedrene, β-cedrene, thujopsene, cedrol, widdrol and other naturally occurring compounds.

Uses : It is used as an antiseborrheic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, tonic, astringent, diuretic, emmenagogue, expectorant, insecticidal, sedative and fungicidal substance.

Benefit : Cedarwood oil is a natural antiseptic. It may help fight fungal infections, reduce hair loss, ease arthritis discomfort, support the respiratory system, regulate the menstrual cycle and assist with insomnia.

Caution Note : CO2 Extract oil is a powerful irritant and even in minute quantities may produce an intense burning sensation when it comes into contact with the eyes and tender areas of the skin.
