Description : Cananga Essential Oil is extracted from the tall tropical tree and is cultivated in Java, Sumatra, Madagascar and the Comores. It has a sweet, exotic floral aroma. The plant means “flower of flowers” and the oil is widely used in perfumes and cosmetic preparations throughout Europe.
Constituents : linalool, geranyl acetate, caryophyllene, p-cresyl methyl ether, methyl benzoate, cinnamyl acetate, methyl salicylate, benzyl acetate, benzyl benzoate and other sesquiterpenes.
Uses : Cananga Essential oil is used in both the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. It has a sedative effect on the nervous system and helps in reducing anxiety, tension, shock, fear and panic. It is also considered effective against bottle impotence and frigidity.
