Description : Oakmoss Essential Oil is solvent extracted from light green lichen, which is found growing initially on oak trees as well as on other plant species. It is extracted through refined steam distillation process, the oil is well recognized for its demulcent, antiseptic, expectorant and fixative application. Oakmass essential oil is also lends body and rich natural undertones to all perfume / aroma types.

Common Names : Oak Moss Oil, Oakmoss Absolute, Oakmoss Absolute oil, Evernia Prunastri.

Uses : Oakmass essential oil is used as a fixative and mainly in soaps. The absolute is most varity and used in all perfume types. The extracted resin and resinoids that have low solubility are used in hair soaps, preparations, industrial perfumes and other low cost products.
