SANDALWOOD ESSENTIAL OIL

Description : Sandalwood is a class of woods from trees in the genus Santalum. The woods are heavy, yellow, and fine-grained, and unlike many other aromatic woods, they retain their fragrance for decades. Sandalwood oil is extracted from the woods for use.

Constituents : The main chemical components of sandalwood oil include 90% santalol, santyl acetate and santalene.

Uses : You can inhale Sandalwood directly from palms or diffuse to lessen tension and balance emotions. Massage 1-2 drops over the area of concern, either undiluted or with a moisturizer or carrier of your choice in order to reduce wrinkles. Add several drops to coconut oil and apply to the hair to help with dryness.
