Description : A lime is a hybrid citrus fruit, which is typically round, green in color, 3–6 centimetres in diameter, and contains acidic juice vesicles. There are several species of citrus trees whose fruits are called limes, including the Key lime, Persian lime, kaffir lime, and desert lime. Lime oil has been extensively used in the food and beverage industry, as well as in making fragrances.

Uses : Lime Distilled Essential Oil (Citrus aurantifolia) is a compound created by cold-pressing the peel of a lime. It's a little known, and seldom-used oil but I love to have it on hand for cleaning, cooking, and especially bad moods. You really can't help but be in a good mood with lime essential oil floating through the air.
