Description : 
Mace a very different and fragrant spice. It is made from grinding the lacy outer covering surrounding the nutmeg. Mace is the lacy coating that is found on a nutmeg seed. The lacy aril, which is red, is removed by hand from the outer shell of the nutmeg and then dried, becoming a yellowish-brown mace. Mace is sold in whole pieces called blades or in the more commonly-found ground form.


Constituents : 
75 % Citral, chemical limonene.


Uses :
 Mace Essential Oil can be used to stimulate appetite whilst relieving constipation. It is known to be a tonic assisting the reproductive system. It is also used to prepare cough syrups and cold rubs.


Benefit : Mace Essential Oil have the properties as an analgesic, anti-rheumatic, antiseptic, anti-spasmodic, carminative, digestive, laxative, stimulant, tonic. It can stimulate the heart and circulation; it can also activate the mind and revives people whilst having spells of fainting.
