Description : Oil of guaiac is produced through steam distillation of a mixture of wood and sawdust from palo santo. It is sometimes incorrectly called guaiac wood concrete. It is a yellow to greenish yellow semi-solid mass.Guaiac Wood is a small tree that is also known as guayacan. Guaiac Wood is one of the hardest and most resilient woods in the world.


Constituents : The principle constituents of the oil are guaiol (40 - 72%) and bulnesol, beta-Guaiene


Uses : Guaiac essential oil is a very popular oil with perfumers because of its depth of aroma and fixative qualities. It can be used as a nebuliser, oil burner and also In baths or inhalation.


Benefit : Guaiac essential oil helps the body get rid of excess water, allowing for a taut skin appearance while anti-oxidants keep body cells healthy and prevent skin damage.
