Description : Labdanum (Rockrose) absolute Oil is an intriguingly complex, rich balsamic oil that is well suited for use as a fixative in natural perfumery and fragrancing applications. Its scent is earthy, balsamic-like, musky, spicy and warm. Labdanum or Rock Rose also known as cistus. Labdanum Absolute is obtained by solvent extraction of the resinous leaves and twigs – a world away from steam distilled Cistus essential oil.


Constituents : Camphene, myrcene, sabinene, phellandrene, cymene, limonene, cineole, nerol, borneol, geraniol, fenchone.


Uses : Rock rose absolute oil is used in amber perfume and in many natural perfumes. it is widely used in aromatherapy to treat wounds, regulate acne-prone and oily skin, treat respiratory conditions, and more.


Benefit : Rock rose absolute oil is balancing and soothing. It is astringent, antiseptic (great for wounds) regenerative and a skin tonic.
