Description : 
These are one of the most traded in spice, native to South America. The Plant is cultivated especially for its fruit, which is dried and used as a spice or seasoning. 


Constituents : 
 Davana oil, and linalool decreased while those of (Z)- and (E)-methyl cinnamate, (E)-ethyl cinnamate, bicyclogermacrene, davana ether, 2-hydroxyisodavanone


Uses :
 Paprika is used as an ingredient in numerous dishes throughout the world. It is principally used to season and color rices, stews, and soups, such as goulash, and in the preparation of sausages, mixed with meats and other spices.


Benefit : Paprika oil helps promote blood formation and healthy circulation. The copper and iron in paprika are essential for the formation of new blood cells. This spice may also act as a vasodilator because of its high potassium levels, and may reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and atherosclerosis.
