Description : Amber Essential oil is produced from the fossilized sap of the giant prehistoric conifer called : Pinus Succinefera. Amber is a fossil resin. Since you can't exactly extract an oil from an amber stone, amber oil is derived from extracts from various tree resins — hence the earthy, woody scent. The modern name for amber is thought to come from the Arabic word, ambar, meaning ambergrisAmbergris is the waxy aromatic substance created in the intestines of sperm whales and was used in making perfumes both in ancient times as well as modern. Amber essential oil is calming, and it encourages harmony and balance.

Constituents : Sesquiterpenes, phenyl ethyl chromones,selinene,eudesmene,Palmitic acid.

How to use : You can apply it topically to relieve local pain or you can dilute it with a carrier oil to make a soothing massage blend. Amber essential oil is also said to have antispasmodic properties which can help ease muscle pains and spasms. Try massaging the oil into your body to ease any muscular aches and pains.
