Description : Ajowan oleorisin has a very Spicy, Sharp and Herbaceous Scent. It represent overall flavor profile of spices. Oleoresin of ajowan is pale green oily liquid with characteristic aroma and sharp taste attribute. The high content of thymol makes ajowin oleoresin ideal for medicinal uses.


Constituents : Primarily contains 35 – 60% thymol, p-cymine (10-16%), a-terepinene (10-16%), ß-pinene (4-5%) and dipenene (4-6%).


Uses : Ajowan oleorisin is used by food industries to prevent the growth of mold and bacteria. The root of ajowan plant is used as carminative, diuretic, febrifuge and also useful in stomach troubles.


Benefit : Ajowan possesses aromatic, bitter, digestive, diuretic, diaphoretic, expectorant, tonic, antiseptic, antispasmodic properties They are helpful in treatment of influenza, asthma, coughs, colds, colic, diarrhea, cholera, indigestion, edema, rheumatism.
