Description : Kulanjan essential oil drives from an robust perennial herb. The Kulanjan essential oil is extracted through steam distillation process from the dry part of roots and well accept for its anti-ulcer and anti-microbial. It is useful in different lipid disorders especially atherosclerosis.


Constituents : Alkaloid, Resinoids, inulin, a fixed oil and other minor constituents like tannins, sugar, alpha pinene, camphene and camphor

Uses : Kulanjan essential has anti microbial property, anti-tumour activity, anti-ulcer activity, anabolic effects and anti-hepatotoxic effects. This is useful in various lipid disorders especially atherosclerosis.

It is used as a single drug or as a compound medicine and it has actions such as expectorant, nerve stimulant, appetizer, digestive, stomachic, cardiac tonic, carminative, etc.
