Description : Khaki bush is grown in Africa and now also in France and North America. It is a weed with deeply divided deep-green feathery leaves and numerous yellowish-orange carnation-like flowers. Tagetes oil is extracted from the leaves, stalks and flowers, picked when the seeds are just starting to form. Tagetes is also known by a few other names, including Khaki Bush and Mexican Marie Gold. This herb is believed to be native to Africa.
