Description : The Evening Primrose Carrier Oil is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of Evening Primrose plant, Oenothera biennis. Evening primrose is usually blended in a small (often 10%) dilution with other carrier oils.

Uses : Evening Primrose Carrier Oil is used in manufacturing and in dilution with other carrier oils suitable for massage. It is particularly useful for mature skin and is sometimes useful to combat cellulitis.

Benefit : Evening Primrose Carrier Oil contains high levels of GLA essential fatty acids and is good for dry and mature skin. It also soothes inflammation and can be used in dandruff applications. It is also reputed to nourish the skin and hair; reduce signs of eczema and fights the effects of aging. |
