Description : Coriander essential oil is not a very well-known oil. Related to cilantro essential oil (which comes from the leaves of the same plant), it’s steam distilled from the seeds of the plant. The seeds have a very pleasant aroma it is also fresh and spicy which is distilled from them is the very smell of a freshly crushed seed.
Constituents : Anethole, camphor, linalool, pinene, quercetin, rutin
Uses : It can take a few drops internally and rub on stomach after eating large meals to assist with digestion. Apply to oily skin areas to reduce breakouts. Apply to sore muscles and joints or use with fractionated coconut oil for massage.
Benefit : coriander leaves are rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin K and protein. They also contain small amounts of calcium, phosphorous, potassium, thiamin, niacin and carotene.
