BENZOIN CO2 EXTRACT OIL

Description : Benzoin Oil is extracted from the resin of the Styrax Benzoin tree belonging to the Styracaceae family. Native to Java, Sumatra and Thailand, the tree can grow up to 8 meters in height. The oil is golden brown in color with a treacle-like viscosity and possesses a sweet, warm and vanilla-like aroma.

Constituents : Its main chemical components are benzoic acid, cinnamic acid, benzyl benzoate, benzoic aldehyde, vanillin and coniferyl benzoate.

Uses : Benzoin Oil is used to help relieve and soothe minor irritation of the nose, throat and airways (e.g., laryngitis and croup) when mixed with hot water and the steam is inhaled.

Benefit : Benzoin Oil is known for its medicinal properties and may be used for bronchitis, coughs, colds, wounds, acne, eczema, psoriasis, rheumatism, arthritis, circulation problems, nervous tension, stress, muscle pains, chilblains, rashes and mouth ulcers. It is also widely used in perfumes and various kinds of incense.
