Similar to the essential oil distilled from leaves of its close relative, Ravensare aromatica, havozo oil has a pleasant, sweet anise like note that makes it smell less medicinal and a little more appealing to the average nose.

Constituents : limonène, sabinène, méthyleugénol (< 9%), méthylchavicol (< 18%)

Uses : Havozo Essential Oil Used in steam inhalations to relieve any respiratory tract infections: colds, sinusitis, coughs and bronchitis – Ravensara is an expectorant and a good choice for both inhalations and chest rubs. It can be Used as an analgesic, anti-allergenic, antibacterial, antimicrobial, antidepressant, antifungal, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, aphrodisiac, disinfectant, diuretic, expectorant, relaxant, and tonic substance.
