Description : Hops are the dried flowering part of the hop plant. They are commonly used in brewing beer and as flavoring components in foods.
Constituents : Asparagine, oline, humulene, inositol, lupulin, lupulinic acid, lupulon, manganese, valerianic acid, tannins, estrogenic substances, flavonoids, PABA, picric acids, resin and vitamin B6.
Uses : Hops absolute oil is used as a source for pain relief. Its anti-inflammatory and sedative properties make it useful for various purposes.
Benefit : Hops is one of a group of “nerve tonic” herbs used in traditional medicine for anxiety, sleep problems and relaxation.
