GANDHPURA ESSENTIAL OIL

Description : The leaves of tree are aromatic due to presence of essential oil which is extracted by steam distillation. The oil is available as Gandhpura Taila (Ayurveda) or Wintergreen oil. It is aromatic, carminative and stimulant oil. Gaultheria is an evergreen shrub growing up to one meter. It prefers moist, sandy and loamy soils.

Constituents : methyl salicylate and gaultherilene.

Uses : Gandhpura oil is used in treating Vata gout where the autoimmune system gets weakened and affects joints and muscles. Applying few drops of Gandhpura (Wintergreen) oil with carrier oils like Jojoba oil or sesame oil will help clearing impediments in the blood flow, checks rheumatism and helps in removal of toxins, reduce excess weight, salts and excess water by penetrating deeply into the tissues and muscles through the skin.
